To enhance the knowledge of care providers in the of wound, ostomy and continence with new and innovative ideas to recharge their practice.

Target Audience

Nurses, Advanced Practice Nurses, Wound, Ostomy and/or Continence Nurses, Physicians, Physical Therapists, and other allied health care professionals, including students in the healthcare field.

Program Objectives

At the conclusion of this conference, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe factors that promote and/or inhibit wound healing based on current evidence based practice
  2. Articulate a spectrum of multidisciplinary factors that impact wound management
  3. Demonstrate management techniques for fistula, ostomies and complex wounds
  4. Identify treatment strategies for urinary incontinence

Continuing Education Credits

This program was designed to meet the continuing education requirements of the health care professionals. It is the responsibility of the participant to determine if it applies to their practice and submit it into their licensing board for CE credit.

webWOC Continuing Education Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This offering provides 9 contact hours and is related to nursing practice and education content. Individuals do not need to attend the full conference to get credit, credit will be given for sessions attended. Credit will be given for self-reported sessions attended.
